From time to time, we have retired adults available. Our dogs are our children. We LOVE them with all our hearts and want the very best for them. We owe them that in the very least, so we make it a priority to find the most absolutely perfect home for our kids. I am not in any rush or hurry to rehome them, and they will always have a place to stay with me but if the perfect opportunity came up for one of our retirees, I would not deny them that even though it will be heartbreaking for both my husband and I. We truly want what’s best for all of our babies, and if that means sacrificing our own emotions to offer them a more fulfilling life, one that is BETTER than what we can give, with individual attention we are here for it.

It doesn't happen overnight...
Every dog is unique and will adjust differently, but we believe in the 3/3/3 rule as a general guideline for the adjustment period of an adult dog after adoption. Please give them a chance.

Kaboom is one of our more high energy dogs. He loves to run amuck, and play, and roll around. He is extremely loyal, always at my side, and always so happy to see me. I can be gone for 5 minutes and when I re-enter the room he acts as if he hasn't seen me in years haha. He is very friendly, smart, loyal, and very very loving. He would be great with a active family.

Lexie is the top dog, which means every once in a while she likes to pin down our other dogs and stand on top of their chests to show her dominance. She does not do this in a mean way, she is just letting everyone know that she is the top dog. Lexie will do best in a home where she is the only pet. Lexie is very affectionate, and loves to get pets. Lexie absolutely loved being a Mom to her puppies. She enjoys sleeping next to me on the couch when watching TV. At night, she is welcome to sleep in our bed, but prefers to stay on the couch. She is medium energy and more independent.

Huckleberry Blue is his full name, but he also answers to Huck, & Huckles. He is a true lovebug, a genuine sweetheart who loves to be cuddled and petted. He will roll right on to his back when approached in hopes you won't be able to resist to give him a belly rub! He LOVES belly rubs. He's lower energy, loves his nappys, and loves to dig.
Huck gets along great with our dogs, but doesn't like outside dogs much so because of this he will do best in a quiet home with no other dogs.

Bluebell is our beautiful Black Tri with Double Ghost Blue Eyes! Bluebell is the true definition of a dog. She loves to play fetch, she love to pick up sticks, and she even likes to hold her own leash and walk herself! She is a wonderful, nurturing mother to her pups. She is happy girl filled with love, affection, and plenty of sass. She loves to play and chase everyone down. She is a jumper and can clear our fence so we have to keep a close eye on her. While Bluebell does get along with other dogs, she would do best in a home where she can rule the roost.

VOCAL: Normal - at doorbells, deliveries, etc.
AVAILABILITY: Available
Bamboo is a little guy who is very light and easy to carry around. When you go to pick him up he will sit on his back legs and reach up his front legs like a small child to be lifted. He is a self taught acrobat and can do backflips. He loves to play fetch. He had dental problems and had all but one tooth extracted. Because of this, his tongue is always hanging out of the side of his mouth which gives him a bit of a silly character. He has no issues eating. Bamboo is a watchdog and enjoys his job. He likes to make sure everyone is safe and protected and wills tay on high alert when our cat is around. Bamboo is loving, cuddly, and has no idea how small he is. For a small dog, he is medium-high energy and really enjoys having a job/purpose.

Mimi is a medium-high energy girl who is very affectionate, and good natured. She can be reserved/cautious in new situations and I expect it will take her a little time to warm up to her new family. She is a lap dog and will always try to sit in your lap if given the opportunity. She always makes us laugh with her little wiggle butt dance when she gets excited. She's an independent girl who gets along great with all the dogs here and likes people.
