Guys - Jumbi
My lil devil Jumbi Bay!
My goodness this guy has stolen my heart! I named him "Jumbi" after one of my favorite beaches in St. John, USVI "Jumbi Bay" because his eyes remind me of the turquoise water there. He is tough guy who like to play hard! Rough and tumble, playing in the dirt -- the true spirit of a boy! Once he poops himself out he falls at my feet begging for pets. He is a true sweetheart and a lover. When I want to pick him up he will sit on his rear and extend his front paws up to me like a small child would. So adorable.
Jumbi has been measured with a wicket and stands 11 1/2" tall and weighs 9.8 lbs.
I showed Jumbi at the 2017 ICE Dog Show where he won Best in Show Rare Breed Puppy reserve not once, but TWICE and earned his International and National Championship titles! He is one special boy!!
He has been FULL panel genetically tested and cleared/normal for the following: Collie eye anomaly (Chordial hypoplasia, CEA, CH), Cone degeneration (CD), Degenerative myelopathy (DM), Hereditary cataracts (HC, JC), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Multidrug resistance 1 (MDR1), Multifocal retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis 6 (NCL). He is a carrier of Progressive rod-cone degeneration (PRA-PRCD, PRCD). Jumbi has also been tested for the B Locus and he is Red Factored meaning if he is bred to a dog that is also Red Factored they can produce Red offspring along with Black and Blue.
